What are the benefits of saunas?

Saunas are revered for their multitude of health benefits, primarily enhancing cardiovascular health, boosting the immune system, and promoting detoxification.

Regular sauna sessions can improve heart function, lower blood pressure, and increase blood circulation, mirroring the effects of moderate exercise. The heat also stimulates sweat production, helping the body to expel toxins and potentially improve skin health.

Additionally, the relaxing environment of a sauna reduces stress, releases endorphins, and can alleviate pain from conditions like arthritis, contributing to improved mental health and reduced symptoms in chronic conditions.

Further benefits include respiratory relief and an overall boost in longevity, with studies suggesting that frequent sauna use can decrease the risk of death from all causes. The warm air helps open airways, aiding those with respiratory issues, while the routine of regular sessions is linked with a longer and healthier life, underscoring the comprehensive health advantages of integrating sauna use into a regular wellness routine.

How hot should a sauna be?

Lorem Ipsumis simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

How long should I spend in my DOSE?

Based on the concept of Minimum Effective Dose (MED), the latest science indicates 57 minutes of sauna per week, spread out over multiple sessions is a good DOSE.

Research indicates the benefits of sauna are indeed DOSE dependant, with those who use sauna 4-7 times per week getting the optimal benefits for reducing rates of all cause mortality, cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disease.

Traditional sauna vs Infrared - which is better?

While Traditional Saunas works by heating the ambient air within the sauna, infrared saunas use infrared light to directly warm the body.

Much of the research supporting the benefits of saunas for overall health and longevity are centred around Traditional sauna - that's why they are our saunas of choice.

How long does it take to receive my sauna?

We currently have a 10-12 week lead time on all saunas
